He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart McDermott and Dollie Deskins McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Leorita "Sissy" McDermott; his children, Debbie Webb (Roger), Charles McDermott (Kim) and Jon McDermott; his grandchildren, Aubrey Wilson (Donald), Christopher Webb (Caitlyn) and Tiffany Fuqua (Nate); his great grandchildren, Natalie Fuqua and Webb Fuqua; and his sister Wanda Hafley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home - Danville (318 W Broadway St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to Mitchellsburg Baptist Church or Millenium Park.
