It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Gray Ratliff of Danville, Kentucky, born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clinton Ratliff and Dixie Ratliff; his wife Patricia; his children, Clinton Jaymes Ratliff (Tiffany) of Danville, Sydney Paige Ratliff of Danville and Vicki Vernon (Mike) of Junction City; his grandchildren, Zachary Ratliff, Madison Teague, Sidney Zane Goode, Gavin Ratliff, Easton Ratliff, River Gray Watkins and Tatum Ratliff; his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Ratliff, Fredia Ratliff (Darron), Blake Owens, Blake Ratliff, Lifelong, David, Le Vernon, Ryan and Jerrica Funkhouser; and his pet Willie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the Boyle County Humane Society.

“Sid was a cousin of my mother (Doris Alene Shellnut). I have many fond memories growing up thru childhood into adulthood of Sid & his family. Everything from Sid, my father (Carie) and myself going on a weeklong fishing trip in Canada for big Pike, to Sid and his family making an annual trek to Detroit Area for Thanksgiving. Their visit was always fun with attending Lions game, eating too much followed by all-nighters playing poker with other family members. Sid was loved. - Chris Shellnut”
