With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Penman of Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Penman Sr. Ruth; her parents, James Coulter and Lorine Stokes Penman; her children, Michael Penman and Dorine Penman; and her siblings, Emma Jean Masterson, Cleona Brown, William Coulter and Tom Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Penman (Mary) of Nicholasville, Stanley Penman of Lincoln County, Spencer Lamont Penman of Stanford, Regina Layne (Paul) of Danville, Felisa Coleman of Danville and Anitra Haviland of Danville; her stepchildren, Bobby Penman of Lexington, Brenda Penman, Maria Jordan, Tony Hayes and Janet Penman; and her sister Mary Johnson of Campbellsville. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
