He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert Allen and Alice Hourigan Allen Chambers; and his sister Sarah Martina Allen. He is survived by: his wife Louise Shepherd Allen; his daughters, Angela Allen of Danville and Amy Viola of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Robert Nicholas Wheary, Byron V. Parker, Ezra Slade McIntosh and Elizabeth Alexzandria Reed; his great grandchild Kieran; his siblings, George Dennis Allen (Patsy) of Bowling Green and Alicia Jane Lawson of Alabama; and his aunt Darnell Davis of Tennessee.
