He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leighton Boone and Rayetta Popplewell Erwin. He is survived by: his children, Marcie Leedom (Chris) of Junction City, Mandy Stocker (Adam) of Danville, Bridget Winfrey (Tony) of Nicholasville, Courtney Johnston, Samantha Johnston and Michael Boone of Danville; his siblings, Lee Anderson (Suzanne) of Owensboro, Calvin Boone of Danville and Debbie Anderson (James) of Moreland; his grandchildren, Austin, Zachary, Alex, Kallie, Dani, Phoebe, Aidan, Addison, Marlee, Brantley, Wyatt and RJ; and his great grandchild Jamison. He is also survived by several uncle, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home, Inc. (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
