She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Simpson and Roberta Griffin Simpson; and her husband John Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Lea Ann Smith of Mississippi and Dayna Carmicle (Todd) of Salvisa, KY; and her sister Kathy Bourne (Tommy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
