It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Taylor of Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Nelson and Johnetta Chenault; her husband Albert Lee Taylor; her children, Terry Smith and Lonetta Smith; and her siblings, Barbara Nelson, Roseann Porter, George and Harvey Chenault.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Faulkner (Don), Francine Thompson, Alberta Lewis (Charlie) and Marvin Smith; and her sisters, Bethel Wade and Lanier Bowman. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home (331 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
