He is survived by: his son Michael Bales; his grandson Waylon Bales; his daughter Kristen Bales; his son-in-law Chris Sullivan (Teresa Davis); his brother Dan Bales; his sister-in-law Nancy Bales; his sister Brenda Farmer; his brother-in-law Ervin Farmer; and his great-nephew Sterling Mayne Farmer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
