She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack C. Garriott and Mary Willie Garriott (Coleman); her grandson Stuart Smith; and her siblings, Trudy, Adele Ransdell and Jack Garriott.
She is survived by: her children, Alexa Smith (Victor) of Dayton, OH and Jim Stevens (Liz) of Danville, KY; her sister Ruth "Oopie" Bunton of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Heidi Smith (Will Welch), Logan Smith, Coleman Stevens (Shelby), Candace Stevens and Sadie Harper (Cory); and her great grandchildren, Jane Abby, Georgia and Kent Stevens.
