He is survived by: his wife Deletta "Dee" Hieatt; his children, Zachary Hieatt (Shaylin) of Shelbyville, KY, Austin Hieatt of Eminence, KY, James "Jimmy" Hieatt, Billy Hieatt (Leslie Jo) of Keokuk, IA, John Stone of Lexington, KY, Justin Pennington, Kaitlin Hieatt of Eminence, KY, Mandy Hieatt of Somerset, KY and Brittney Bethany of Lexington, KY; his siblings, Cindy (Paul), David (Kathy) and Allen (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kinsley, Brayleigh, Haley, Samantha, Shaunte and Nathan; and his great grandchild Elijah.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of James to Shriners Children Hospital.
