He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Shepherd and Emma Shepherd; and his brother Matthew Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Mary Shepherd; his children, Hugh Logan Shepherd of St. Louis, MO, Brian Cool (Sherene) of San Antonio, TX and Lisa Bauder (Mark); his brother Donald Shepherd; his grandchildren, Jennifer Guinn (Will), Kelsie Redding (Chris) and Jordan Cool; and his great grandchildren, Carter Redding of Danville, KY. and Kipton Redding of Danville, KY..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home (331 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Danville (500 W Main St, Danville, KY 40422).
