She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gaines and Ruby W. Crawford Gaines; and her siblings, Howard Crawford (Gaines) and Patricia Pelkonen. She is survived by: her husband Antonio Romero; her children, Dionne Slugantz (David), Linda Hatter (Marty) and Micki Lee (Anthony); her siblings, Tommy Gaines (Jenny) and Barbara Sheperson (Bobby); and her grandsons, Brett Hatter, Ryan Lee, Dylan Smith, Cody Lee, Aaron Hatter and Trey Smith. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
