Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Carpenter of Danville, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 18, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha R. Carpenter and Lottie Manning Carpenter; and his brother Marvin Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hoover, George Alan Hoover (Mellissa), Vivian Hoover Parker (Tim) of Forest City and Arlene Hoover of Forest City; and his sister Linda Yocum (Kenneth "Porkchop"). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Heritage Hospice.
