He was predeceased by: his parents, William Buster Cooper (Glenda) of South Shore and Garnet Hartley Fraley (Alfred) of Vanceburg, Kentucky.; his brother William Hubert Jr. (Peewee); his daughter Alisha Hartley Lee (Boo) of Liberty, Kentucky; his stepfather Alfred Fraley of Garrison, Kentucky; his stepson Marc-Anthony Sharp of Liberty, Kentucky; and his granddaughters, Faith Quinn Hartley of Tollesboro and Abigail Grace Lee of Liberty, Kentucky..
He is survived by: his wife Emma-Jean Hartley (Sharp) of Danville; his stepmother Glenda Cooper of South Shore, Kentucky.; his children, Anthony Hartley (Cherish) of Tollesboro, Amanda Brannock (Brian) of Barnesville, Georgia and Taylor; his stepson Willy Sharp (Jodie Woods) of Danville, Kentucky; his son-in-law Robert Lee of Liberty, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Adam Brannock of Stanford, Kentucky., Hannah Sharp of Stanford, Kentucky., Kalyn Lee of Stanford, Kentucky., Andrew Hartley of Stanford, Kentucky., Bailey Brannock of Stanford, Kentucky., Avrum Hartley of Stanford, Kentucky., Kaeson of Stanford, Kentucky. and Karsyn Martin of Stanford, Kentucky.; and his siblings, Larry Cooper (Ramona) of Portsmouth, William Cooper (Ragen) of Miami, Bob Cooper of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Katie Ginn (Brian) of Black Oak and Tammy Highfield (Carey) of Vanceburg, Kentucky. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
