She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lillian Baker, Mary Lancaster, Anna Brand, James Lancaster and Coleman Simpson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Chris Simpson (Missy) of Danville and Evette Simpson of Danville; her grandsons, Jacody Taylor of Danville, Tre'Kale Simpson of Danville, Akili Simpson of Danville and K'Mill Simpson of Danville; her great grandchildren, Caynen Taylor, KaMaree Simpson, Ah'Miri Simpson and Yomi Taylor; her sister Dora Yocum of Danville; and her friend Djkarta Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
