She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Sears and Mary Johnson Griffin; her daughter Helen Spears; her siblings, Dawson, Hubert, Lee, Eva, Ruby, Mary, Nellie, Tootie and Mildred; her granddaughter Pricilla; and her daughter-in-law Michelle.

She is survived by: her husband Charles David Kidd; and her pet Chi Chi. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren.
