Dora Shewmaker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025, at the age of 91, Dora Shewmaker of Danville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Manuel and Viola Manuel (Collins); her husband Robert Lee Shewmaker of Danville; and her children, Robert Lee Shewmaker Jr. and Linda Cushion.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Shewmaker of Harrodsburg, KY; her grandchildren, Bo Shewmaker (Jessica), Teresa Parrish (Scott), John Knight (Tonja), Cyndi Blevins (Lewis), Zach Shewmaker (Stacy) and Stephanie Franklin (Shane); and her great grandchildren, Cade, Coby, Haley, Heather, Jayme, Timothy, Caitlin, Shawn, Gemma, Lucia, Heath, Payton, Kora, Hunter, Jacob, Lexi, Hayden and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel (345 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
