He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lee and Flora Lewis Haydon; his wife Emma Lucy Haydon; his nephews, Paul Kevin Jenkins and William Donald Jenkins; and his brother-in-law Dudley Jenkins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Darrol Haydon (Carol), Doris Warner and Juanita Faye Scrogham (Marlin); his sister-in-law Leslie Doris Jenkins; his nieces, Marcia Jenkins, Fawn Jenkins and Penny Lee Gilpin; his great-nephews, Dr. Aaron Kyle Jenkins and William Charles Jenkins (Anna Geiger); and his great-niece Lyndsie Murray Jenkins. He is also survived by several great-great nieces and nephews along with his church family.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (123 Quisenberry Ave, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
