He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Helen Ellis; his parents, Boyd Ellis and Anna Mae Hafley Ellis; his son Rockland Ellis; and his brothers, Harold, Stanley and James Ellis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Warren (Gary) of Danville, KY and Jennifer Webb (Bob) of Danville, KY; and his grandchildren, Dr. Clay Warren of Lexington, KY, Tiah Osbourn (Eric) of Stanford, KY, Kristi Boaz (Chris) of Lexington, KY and Kasey Webb (Melissa) of Forkland, KY. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
