She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hatcher and Myrtie Hatcher; her daughter Tamara Lin Bennett; and her sister Mary Della Jull. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Melvin "Doug" Cox; her children, Travis Cox (Julie) of Danville, Tracey Delene Gaslin (Todd) of Louisville and Leslie Teryl Snow (Dave) of Nicholasville; her son-in-law Andrew Bennett of Seattle, Washington; her grandchildren, Malcolm Douglas Cox (Caroline), Jenny Beth Penson (Tristan), Jackson Travis Cox, Shelby Faith Snow, Samuel David Snow, Allison Margaret Bennett and Zachary Matthew Bennett; and her nephew Brian Jull (Krista) of Mills River.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Indian Hills Christian Church (1200 Lexington Rd, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
