He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dempsey and Vera Mae Gibson Gellenbeck; and his brothers, Paul, Phillip and John.
He is survived by: his wife Angela; his children, Joseph Gellenbeck (Andrea) of Gravel Switch, Valerie Eck (Trisdan) of Bartlett and Darren Gellenbeck (Tiffany) of Gravel Switch, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jenny, Elsie, Isaac, Mandy, David, Dustin, Ellie, Meg, Nathan and Kenneth; and his siblings, Mark Gellenbeck (Liz) of Newalla, Steve Gellenbeck (Margie) of Crescent, Oklahoma, Jeannine Miles (Lonnie) of Guthrie and Carla Delano (Bill) of Crescent, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and other extended family members and friends.
