He is survived by: his children, Garnett Clarkson (Lisa) of Danville and Robin Clarkson of Salt Lick; his grandchildren, Brian Clarkson (Melissa) of Danville and Eric Clarkson (Ashley) of Danville; his great grandchildren, Ryan Clarkson, Charles Clarkson, Camilla Clarkson, Hailey Thrasher and Michael Butler; and his great great grandchild Kian Clarkson.
