He was predeceased by: his father Carroll William. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his son Michael William Boatwright; his grandchildren, Emma and Paige; his cousin Martha Mixon of Augusta; his sister-in-law Rosemary McNutt (Gary); his niece Elizabeth McNutt Marchand; and his nephew James McNutt.
