He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Young and Allie Gourley Young; his wives, Imogene Edwards Young and Iva Adington Young; and his siblings, Jim Young, Glen Young, Leonard Young, Helen Croft, Wilma Denham, Wibbie Denham, Phyllis Young and Eunice Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Young (Kate) of Hawley, Dwight Young (Leslie) of St. Petersburg, Steele Harmon of Lexington, Glenn Adington (Jackie) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Vicki Senior of Danville, Diane Jeffries (Harold) of Stanford and Debra Petrey (Dale) of Richmond, Kentucky; and his siblings, Gary Lynn Young (Geraldine) of Germantown, Ohio and Beatrice Faye Reed of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and friends.
