She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Knapp and Grace Tuthill Knapp; and her husband William Ward Mingey. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Mingey of Somerset, Todd Mingey (Missy) of Corbin and Burt Mingey of Paris; her siblings, Theodore Knapp, Arthur Knapp, Jane Hall and Joan Ramey; and her grandchildren, Toshia Mingey, Anthony Mingey, Tanner Mingey, Ashley Doolin, Sara Mingey, Burt Mingey, Jr., Christy Mingey, Seth Mingey, Michael Mingey, Nicole Mingey and Deanne Mingey. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
