It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Lee Taylor (Danville, Kentucky), born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Albert leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Albert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Taylor and Jeanetta Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Nelson Taylor; and his children, Francine Thompson, Alberta Lewis (Charlie), Barbara Faulkner (Don) and Marvin Smith. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home (331 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
