He is survived by: his wife Dana Joy Morgan Buckner of Greensburg; his children, Mythia (Joey Davis), Lacey Perkins of Campbellsville, Eric Cornelison of Summersville and Gary (Tasha Buckner); his grandchildren, Jordan Buckner, Travis Buckner, Leah Buckner, Kacey Buckner, Emily Wright and Abigail Wright; his siblings, James (Jeanne Buckner), Bobby (Joyce Buckner), Donnie (Linda Buckner) and Janie; and his brother-in-law Bobby Compton of Greensburg. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
