He was predeceased by: his parents, Toleman Marcum and Sarah Helen Jennings Marcum; his son William David Marcum; and his brothers, Robert and Clint Marcum.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlotte Trent, Linda Preston, Addie LeMaster (Daryl), Cynthia Marcum, Diana Marcum and David Marcum (Lynn). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
