He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bowman and Mary Mailliard Bowman; his spouse Vernetta Whalen Bowman; his stepson Hiram Terry Hall; his siblings, Samuel, Daniel and Lois; and his grandchildren, Christina Strong and Shane Strong.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Betty Jo Strong (David) and Dale Hall Jr.; his sister Alice Flickinger (Mel); and his grandchildren, Christian Strong (Mindy), Dale Hall III, Alex Hall (Rachel), Natalie Hall (Kyle) and Bethany Hall. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
