He is survived by: his former wife Cora Mae Simpson Florence; his son Steven Wayne Florence (Mary); his grandchildren, Allen Maybrier, Alex Maybrier, Tonya Applegate, Candy Wolf and Stevie Florence; and his sisters, Patricia Shanklin, Marcia Simpson (Jimmy) and Annette Florence.
