He was predeceased by: his wife Beth Fryman Wright. He is survived by: his close friend Piper; his son David Watkins (Josie); his siblings, William Wright (Edna), Mark Wright, Patricia Wright and Carolyn Wright; his grandchildren, Charlie, Olivia, Ellie "Turtle" Watkins, Matt and Daphne Courtney; and also Kim Watkins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home (112 N Walnut St, Cynthiana, KY 41031). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty F. H. (112 N Walnut St, Cynthiana, KY 41031).
