She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville, Sr. Simpson and Anna Cole Simpson; her former husband Harold Wayne Florence; her children, Tony Florence and Tina Michelle Maybrier; her siblings, Orville Jr., Charles, Clarence "Ed", Donald Gene Simpson, Louise Richardson, Anna Lee Whalen and Mary Catherine Simpson; and her granddaughter Crissy Michelle Evans.
She is survived by: her son Steven Wayne Florence, Sr. (Mary) of Butler; her daughter-in-law Faith Eckler of Cynthiana; her siblings, Newton "Sonny" Simpson (Betty) of Ohio, James T. "Jimmy" Simpson (Marcia) of Cynthiana, Martha Bilyeu (Charlie) of Tennessee and Maxie Wyrick of Cynthiana; and her grandchildren, Steven Wayne Florence, Jr., Allen Wayne Maybrier, Alexandra Maybrier and Tonya Applegate. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home (112 N Walnut St, Cynthiana, KY 41031). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 at the Pythian Grove Cemetery (4820 State Hwy 1032, Berry, KY 41003).
