He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Whitaker and Margaret Harris Whitaker; and his brothers, Jerry and Gayle Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Kay Lemons Whitaker; his children, Amy Lee Sadler of Cynthiana, Stacy Collins (Rob) of Lexington and Billy Todd (Whitaker); his grandchildren, Shaylee Buenrostro (Miguel), Lane Sadler and Sadie Collins; and his great grandchildren, Link and Bennett.
