He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gupton Hays; his daughters, Trava Smithson (Todd) of Cunningham and Vanessa Myers (Keith) of Kevil; his granddaughters, Torey Goldsmith (Jon Derek) of Cunningham and Isabella Myers of Kevil; and his great grandchild Caroline Goldsmith.
