She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee "Buddy" DeJarnett and Maxine Arington DeJarnett. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Sams of Cunningham; her sons, Eric Sams (Marla) of Fancy Farm and Curtis Sams (Sabrina) of Fancy Farm; her sister Yvonne Gant (Ricky) of Blandville; her grandchildren, Devin Sams (Misha), Laken Martin (Trey), Abigail Sams, Kinlee Sams and Hudson Sams; and her great grandchild Hallie Martin. She is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
