Though Georgia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Georgia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Laster and Leona Laster. She is survived by: her husband Travis Russell; her children, Stephanie Sloan (Rew) of Franklin, Amanda Bartholomew (Jeremy) of Milan, Tennessee and Jason Russell of Chapmansboro, Tennessee; her brother Johnny Laster (Bonnie) of Sikeston, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Hayden Claire Sloan, Gabrielle Bartholomew and Owen Bartholomew.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell (41 US-51, Bardwell, KY 42023). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
