He is survived by: his children, Julie Gale Hammonds of Paducah, Kentucky, Denver Hammonds, Jr. (Marianne) of Cunningham, Timothy Hammonds (Crystell) of New Albany, John Hammonds (Cheryl) of Villa Park, David Hammonds (Tracy) of Paducah, Philip Hammonds (Amber) of Wickliffe and Steven Hammonds of Cunningham; his grandchildren, Jennifer Harre (Caleb), Samantha Grode (Marty), Shaun Hammonds, Joel Hammonds (Chandler), Alexa Hammonds, Raymond Hammonds, Donnie Hammonds, Christopher Pitt and Alexander Hammonds; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Grode, Makayla Grode, MJ Grode, Makenna Grode, Addison Harre, Cailie Harre, Elora Hammonds, Clark Hammonds, Dean Hammonds and Winifred Hammonds.
