He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hite and Mattie Halstead Hite; and his siblings, Dathol Marshell, Katie Randell, Ila Edwards, Avis Reason, Dallas "Doc" Hite and Randall.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Bates (Roger); his granddaughter Chelsey Hurt (Corey); and his great grandchildren, June Nichole Hurt of Cunningham and Jackson Samuel Hurt of Cunningham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
