He was predeceased by: his siblings, Benton Gilliam, Joe Gilliam and Elizabeth Galloway. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Cress Gilliam of Cumberland, KY; his children, Helen Coots (Pebbles), William J. Gilliam (Sherry) of Middlesboro, KY and Ann Marie Gilliam of Owensboro, KY; his sisters, Anna Sue Gilliam of Harlan, KY and Ella Mae Whiteaker; his grandchildren, Tyler Coots, Jason Coots, Tamara, Makayla, Braelyn Gilliam, Mareshah Springer, Justin, Larisa and Coty McDaniels; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Coots and Carson Coots.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made toward his funeral expenses.
