It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Maggard of Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Maggard and Mae Williams Maggard; his grandsons, Zigurd Grigalis and Brandon Hall; his great grandchild Caleb; and his nephew Saylor Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Clark Maggard of Cumberland; his children, Anna Trent (Tony) of Cumberland, Rhonda Howard of Nicholasville, KY and Sam Maggard, Jr. of Nicholasville, KY; his siblings, Bill Maggard of Putney, Jim Maggard of Putney, Mary Little (Tim) of Richmond, KY, Linda Gail Little of Putney and Charlene Brown of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Samantha, Haley, Amanda, Brittney, Tyler and Jonathan; and his nephew Bobby Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
