He was predeceased by: his parents, Henderson Metcalf and Eddie Boggs Metcalf. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Bowling Metcalf; his children, Amber Day and Leanna Blair; and his siblings, Robert Lee Metcalf, Mildred Dick, Della Mae Shepherd and Faye Metcalf.
