He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dean Howard and Peggy Talley Howard; his grandparents, Dud, Alice Howard, William and Dorothy Talley; his brother Roy Howard; and his nephew Jason Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Howard II (Tiffany Jones), Sasha Howard (Jeremiah Johnson) and Sandra Banks; his sisters, Judy Fields of Ohio and Gina Stewart of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Trenton of Paintsville, Chaunte Howard of Paintsville, Gage of Shorttown, Brooklyn of Shorttown, Camdyn Howard of Shorttown and Ryder Johnson-Howard of Shorttown.
