Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Martha Ellen Lewis of Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 90, on January 5, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Cornett and Mary Hall Cornett; her husband William P. Lewis; and her siblings, Delbert, Lester, Corbin Cornett, Lura Boggs and Lulu Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, John Lewis of Fredericksburg, VA and Bill Lewis (Rebecca) of Gainesville, VA; her grandchildren, Joe Hickman, Heather Elliott, Rachel Schmidt, Christina Lewis and Matthew Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Emma Hargis, Richard Bruce, Hannah Elliott, Thomas Schmidt and Amelie Schmidt.
Due to the mandates by the Governor of Kentucky, all in attendance must wear a face mask at all times for all services with social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL, 60601.
