She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Shelton and Gertie Slaven Shelton; her spouse Linuel Sumpter; her grandchildren, Angela Gail Sumpter and David Travis McDaniels; her siblings, Wilma Orick, Barbara Creech and Jack Shelton; her grandchildren, Adam Maggard, Brian Sumpter, Colter Sumpter, Damon Sumpter, Jason Sumpter, Zachary Sumpter, Amy Sumpter Sexton, April Maggard Herald, Bethany Sumpter Finn, Lorie Sumpter and Megan Sumpter Johnson; and her brother Roger Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Sumpter (Gail) of Ovenfork, Gregory Sumpter (Sharon) of Ovenfork, Larry Sumpter (Margie) of Castlewood, Virginia and Kim Sumpter Maggard (Ronnie) of Mayking; and her siblings, Donald Shelton of Partridge, Eddie Shelton of Partridge, Joe Shelton of Eolia and Frances Ryan.
