He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Loveday Whitehead; his parents, Daniel Whitehead and Ruth Whitehead; his brother Arthur Whitehead; and his stepgrandson Cody.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dale Hensley and Angela Pate of Tennessee; and his siblings, Danny Whitehead (Betty) of Cumberland, Ricky Whitehead (Donna) of Berea, Janice Hobbs of Cumberland, Glenna Sue Coots (Ernest) of Hickory, NC and Teresa Widner (Charles) of Lynch.
