It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Dixon of Cumberland, Kentucky, born in Lynch, Kentucky, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dixon and Myrtle Hall Dixon; and his siblings, Dolly Watts, Dorothy Brown, Tim, Jimmie, Kimble and Jeannie Dixon.
He is survived by: his nephew Shane Ray; his wife Shelia Dixon of Cumberland; his daughter Amy Dixon; his grandchild Dixon Kincheloe of Paintsville; his son John Jacob Dixon (Kristen) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Allie Diggs and Collyns Dixon; his siblings, Toy Dixon, Joy Purdy and Dixie Ray; and his close friends, Ira Sergent, Ray McKinney, John and Shelia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many dear friends.
