He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McKnight and Ethel Smith McKnight; and his siblings, Bob, Bill, Don, Carlos, David, Thelma, Gladys and Wilma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Dyer (Chris) of Harrodsburg, KY, Geraldine Clifford of Lawrenceburg, KY and Jerri Fields (Scott) of Cumberland; the mother of his children Helen Bailey of Cumberland; his brother Eddie McKnight (Debra) of Alabama; and his uncle Leonard McKnight of Cumberland.
Due to the mandate by the Governor of Kentucky, all visitors are required to wear some sort of face covering and practice social distancing.
