He was predeceased by: his parents, Milburn Rhymer and Nannie Rhymer; his close friend Violet Haba; and his sisters, Geneva Zachary, Wanda Eldridge and Mildred Jean Rhymer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Ellis, Christine Overton, Mary Sue Calton (Kenny), Wilma Golden (Leonard), Cora Mchargue and Rufus Rhymer (Mary Ann); and his niece Susan Howard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Green Hills Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
