She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Sanders and Nellie Williams Sanders; her husband Clyde Cornett; her daughters, Brenda Sue Polly and Betty Faye Boggs; her brother James Sanders; her half-siblings, Charlie, Howard Hatmaker, Alita Hatmaker Whitaker, Katie Hatmaker Fee and Eurn Lee Sanders; and her children, Cathy Ann Ison (Terry) of Cumberland, Alan Lee Cornett (Alma) of Cumberland, Danny Lynn Cornett (Linda Lou) of Gordon and Norma Jean Childers (John) of Lexington.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Patrick Todd Polly, Sonja Kay, Lisa Michael Polly, Christopher Polly, Stephen Polly, Wendy Nicole Depew, Terrence Wayne Ison, Elbert Alan Cornett, Andrea Lynn Cornett, Brianna Dannielle Cornett, Natasha Lynn Cornett, Tracey Sizemore, Maria Elizabeth Childers and Sarah Kayla Childers; and her great grandchildren, Chase Alexander Polly, Gavin Lee Polly, Jadin Chet Polly, Shonny Polly, Jazzlyn Kyler Polly, Victoria Watts, Jacob Depew, Kailey M. Depew, Trenton Wade Ison, Maddox Allen Cornett, Luke Arron Cornett, Destiny Ann Campbell, Andre Demetrius Cornett and Sidney Stidham.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sand Hill Baptist Church (30-38 Ellis Rd, Cumberland, KY 40823).
