It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David DeWayne Nease of Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Morris Nease; and his siblings, Darrell, Larry, Kay Nease, Atilano, Angelina, Nicolas, Pete, Johnny and Ervin Santos.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Pennington Nease; his children, Dee Murphy, Donald Nease, Chris Nease, Lori Johnson (Everett) and Maria Nease; his grandchildren, Regan Johnson, Sean Johnson, Aaron Lewis (Julia), Hannah Johnson, Caleigh Cornett, Elaina Salyers, Kobe Salyers, Krystina Nease, Tyler Murphy, Tanner Murphy, Bryson Nease and Mckenzie Nease; his great grandchildren, Easton, Rennesme and Kian Lewis; and his siblings, Charlotte Rhodes (Mearl), Sherry Johnson (Doug), Sheila Sexton, Gail Gilliam (Billy Ray), Gwen Caldwell (Pete), Greg Nease (Sherry), Alfred, Gilbert, Louis, Ray Santos, Lilie Garza, Mary Villalobos and Viola Robles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
